Frýdlant nad Ostravicí, a small town about 30 km from Ostrava, became home to a new firm. The story of LAKUM-KTL, s.r.o. began.
By buying up a company that made metal furniture we expanded the business to include a new area and also preserved the tradition of metal working in Frýdlant.

We broaden our facilities for sheet metal processing by purchasing a new bending technology.
The metal stamping division becomes an independent organisational unit under the name LAKUM-AP, a. s.
As a part of company Lakum-KTL, a. s. we created an independent centre Sheet metal processing.
A new line for cataphoresis was taken into operation.
A final inspection in a hall with an area of 3.000 m2 was made.
Our business family expands to include another member - the firm GALMA, a. s. is acquired.

A new mechanical pressing machine Bret with the power of 200 t was took into operation in the stamping shop.
We started a warehouse construction with an area of 1.800 m2.
Metal sheet processing shop puts a new helper into operation – a punch press FinnPower E5.
Stamping shop develops its possibilities by purchase of pressing machine Bret 400 t.
Sheet metal processing shop extends the capacity by another press Safan and as well starts with 3D printing.
The LAKUM family of firms expands through the acquisition of MASSAG, a. s.
